CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Irish pride was on full display at the Castle of Knights in Chicopee.

The South Hadley Lion's Club and the St. Patrick's Committee of Holyoke combined to organize "Irish Night". It was a night of dinner, dancing and traditional Irish music.

The Holyoke Colleen and her court even stopped by to eat the corned beef and cabbage.

Jacki Reardon told 22News what makes the night so special.

“The camaraderie. Everybody has a good time,” said Reardon. “We get people from Holyoke and people from all over who like to have a good time. They like the raffle, and the best part is the grand prize.”

And that grand prize is a trip for two, for a week, to Ireland.
