Three Holyoke residents plead guilty to health care fraud

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Three Holyoke residents have been ordered to pay more than $260,000 in restitution for defrauding MassHealth , the state's Medicaid Program.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Aida Hernandez, 59,  Maria Jusino, 35, and Rafael Belen, 39, each pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit health care fraud in August.
  
The three co-conspirators reportedly engaged in a scheme to defraud the state's Personal Care Attendant Program for five years.
 
The defendants were also sentenced to probation and community service.
