SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The state is hoping to get some insights from local businesses.
Thursday, the Lt. Governor toured creative businesses at the Indian Orchard Mills in Springfield.
It's part of the CreativeNext tour to hear from small businesses.
Lt. Governor Murray said it's important to listen to small businesses because as the state tries to add new jobs a significant amount of them will come from the small business sector.
Murray told 22News, “So it's one job at a time, we like the big companies growing and expanding but we also recognize that it's smaller entrepreneurs that are part of the equation too.”
The CreativeNext tour launched to connect to the $1 billion creative economy industry which employs over 100,000 Massachusetts workers.
