Lunch lady, student involved in fight at High School of Commerce

No one seriously hurt in lunch line fight

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A lunch lady got into a fight with a student at the High School of Commerce in Springfield on Tuesday.

Springfield schools spokeswoman Azell Cavaan told that 22News the fight started in the lunch line and no one was seriously hurt. 

The student is facing disciplinary action. The lunch lady is not a School employee, but works for Sodexo, the school's food supply company. 

Cavaan says it is up to the company to discipline their employee, but they have asked that the lunch lady not return to the Springfield schools.

There is no official word on what started the fight, though Cavaan said it appears the student was the aggressor.
