SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP/WWLP) - A Springfield man who was charged with biting off part of a youth basketball coach's ear may now face up to four years in jail.

Timothy Forbes was found guilty in Hampden Superior Court Tuesday.

Prosecutors say the 34-year-old attacked Jose Feliciano after a championship game between teams of fifth-and sixth-graders last March.

Feliciano was the coach of the winning team and Forbes' two children played for the team that lost.

A doctor who performed reattachment surgery on Feliciano's ear said about two inches of the total five inches of the ridge of the ear was gone.
