SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Police are looking for three men who they say broke into a home at 81 Mooreland Street in the Liberty Heights section of the city.
Captain Larry Brown told 22News that just before 12:30AM Thursday, three black men forced their way into the home and confronted three men and two women inside.
All three suspects had guns; one of the weapons was a shotgun.
One of the suspects allegedly hit one of the men in the head with the barrel of the shotgun. He was taken to Mercy Medical Center, but is expected to survive.
One of the suspects had a green jacket with his face covered. Another was wearing a gray sweater, while another is described as wearing a red hat a black jacket.
They were last seen running North on Mooreland Street.
