SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A man was injured after crashing into a pole and a tree in Springfield.

It happened just before 5:30 Saturday evening, at the intersection of Dickinson and Tiffany streets.

The man was taken to Baystate Medical Center, and is expected to survive.

Sgt. Brian Keenan told 22News he'll eventually be charged with motor vehicle violations.
