HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Police in Holyoke arrested seven people following the execution of a search warrant related to Wednesday night's shooting at the corner of Elm and Sargeant Street.
Lt. Jim Albert told 22News they're in the process of booking those people right now on charges of trafficking cocaine.
Lt. Albert said so far, nobody has been charged with the shooting.
Police served the warrant for 138 Sargeant Street, apartment 302.
The shooting victim was shot twice. Once in the arm and once in the back.
He was rushed to Baystate Medical Center.
Lt. Albert described his injuries as "serious."
His name is not being released.
