HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Dozens of people marched in Holyoke today to show their support for families affected by gun violence.

Mother of Jean Carlos Laguer, a teenager who was killed two years ago, told 22News, gun violence isn't just one family's problem.

Rather, it's an issue that affects the entire community.

“It's hard to lose a son, and I think the community has to realize that if we see something wrong and we add to it, we are not doing any better,” Mig Daliarios said.

Daliarios told 22News, she wants everyone to be more aware of their surroundings.

And if they see something, they shouldn't hesitate to call 911.
