CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Chicopee Mayor Michael Bissonnette has more than 3600 Facebook friends and doesn't mind sharing his opinion on certain topics.

Tuesday night Mayor Bissonnette talking about anonymous internet poster said in part "Really pathetic 'Big men' hiding behind their little laptops because I will seek revenge."

Bissonnette mostly posts city news and updates on his page.  But 22News has received emails in the past about some of the mayor's opinionated posts.  We asked Mayor Bissonnette if he feels he needs to scale it back a bit.

"If you're going to ask me if I sometimes regret, I sure do, but in the heat of the moment I may make an ill-advised remark.   I intend to continue to use it as much as I can to get the message out and sometimes people don't like that message they're free to shout back at me", says Mayor Bissonnette.
