SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - 10 more Dixie Dogs arrived on Saturday at the Dakin Humane society in Springfield.

Because of animal over population in Texas where they come from, dozens of these dogs have been sent to Springfield to be adopted.

“Already they've been micro-chipped and we're going to prep them and get them ready for adoption next week,” Candy Lash told 22News.

Dixie dogs arrive in Springfield every two weeks. So far they've all found a good home here in the Pioneer Valley.
