Power outage in West Springfield Sunday morning

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Western Massachusetts Electric Company has restored power to hundreds of homes in West Springfield that lost it Sunday morning.

At around 8:30 a.m. more than 11-hundred customers were without power.

West Springfield Police Sergeant Michael Reed told 22News they believed a transformer blew causing the outage.
