SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Say it isn't so, but there is snow in the forecast. The official start of spring begins on Wednesday, but winter's wrath isn't over just yet.
We could see several inches of snow on the ground by Tuesday morning.
It's been a long cold winter, so many people can't wait for spring to arrive and say so long to winter.
Daniel McCann of Enfield, CT, told 22News, "I've pretty much had my share of snow this year, so spring is very welcomed at this point."
"I'm very anxious for spring, I can taste it, it's coming, and we’ve had a few 50 degree days, its right around the corner," said Bob Larson of Tolland, CT.
"I'm looking forward to it,” said Stephan Brandstatter of Brattleboro, VT. “Yeah it'll give me a chance to get out, do some hiking, walking, and gardening, and just enjoy the fresh air."
