Movie theaters packed on Christmas

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - One of the places that are open on Christmas night is the movie theaters.

In West Springfield, the Rave Motion Pictures had a great turnout. The parking lots were packed.

Those who ventured out tonight said they were looking forward to unwinding at the movies after their busy holiday.

“We're just coming out to relax after a nice Christmas and a long day,” said Georgette Hannoush of West Springfield. “Decided to come watch a movie, a comedy actually. It's great that they are open. Nice little getaway.”

The last movie showing is at midnight.
