PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A man arrested in Pittsfield over the weekend in connection with a fatal shooting in Springfield in October is headed to court.

Authorities say 19-year-old Larry Green is expected to appear in Central Berkshire District Court on Monday to face a drug charge, before being transported to Springfield to face a murder charge in connection with the Oct. 26 shooting of 19-year-old Dwayne Kelly Jr.

Kelly was shot dead in front of a market at the corner of Eastern Avenue and King Street.

Investigators say they suspect it was a gang-related killing.

There have been 12 homicides in Springfield this year.
