New tee shirts sold to honor Officer Kevin Ambrose

Sales will benefit Kevin E. Ambrose Memorial Fund

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A new tee-shirt is being sold in honor of the sacrifice made by fallen Springfield Police Officer Kevin Ambrose .

Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney told 22News that all proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go to the Kevin E. Ambrose Memorial Fund.

The shirts feature the fallen officer’s badge number, 7, along with the date he was hired and the date of his final call.

Delaney said that Ludlow Printing and Bolduc Apparel donated their services to make the shirts, which will sell for $20 each.

Ambrose was shot and killed on June 4 while responding to a call about a restraining order at a Lawton Street apartment complex.
