HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Over the last couple of weeks, we have been seeing some pretty nice fall color across western Massachusetts.
In Holyoke Friday, the skies might have been gray, but many of the trees were full of brightly-colored leaves. We are still seeing some peak color mainly across Hampden County but the color is starting to fade and the leaves have really started to come off the trees in Berkshire and Franklin Counties.
Most people who live here and who are visiting from other parts of the country are pretty happy with what they've seen this foliage season.
“I have today off for a vacation day, but again it's raining, so you can't really view it,” Roberta Krause of Southampton said. “But a couple of days during the week going home, I did get to see the beautiful maple trees.”
“All the different colors- the oranges, reds, yellows- it's phenomenal, it's so bright I enjoy it,” Carl Collinage of Copper Mountain, Colorado said.
You should be able to get out there a see some nice the foliage this weekend, but after that, you may be out of luck.
