SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Just one more night left for Bright Nights at Forest Park in Springfield.
And the fresh-fallen snow from Saturday's storm brought out the spirit and the people on this New Year's Eve.
There was a steady stream of cars going through the park taking in the winter wonderland.
One woman told 22News she surprised her three nephews who'd never been to Bright Nights before, and they were impressed with the dazzling lighting displays.
"Well, i love playing with my nieces and nephews. Got six. these are three. that i took tonight so my sisters could go out and have a night and just figured I'd bring them to the lights and enjoy it and have a good time," said Becky Pelletier.
New Years night is the final night for Bright Nights at Forest Park.
Admission on the last night is 21 dollars per car load.
Bright Nights re-opens the night before Thanksgiving, Wednesday November 27th, 2013.
