SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - 22News is working for you with a Cone Zone traffic alert out of Springfield’s Forest Park neighborhood.

Part of Sumner Avenue will be closed for three hours during the evening commute so police can continue their investigation of a deadly accident there that happened back in July .

From 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Sumner Avenue will be closed from Ormond Street to Converse and Lyndale Streets. No pedestrians or vehicles will be allowed through during that time. Traffic will be re-routed down side streets to White Street and Belmont Avenue.
