Power restored in Holyoke

Outage affected northern neighborhoods of city

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Power has been restored after parts of the City of Holyoke dealt with a loss of power on Monday afternoon.

The outages affected  the northern parts of the city.

Major businesses like the Delaney House, Log Cabin, and Tavern on the Hill all lost power during the outage.

On his Facebook page , Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse wrote that the issue was caused by a failed switchgear.
