Patriots merchandise in high demand

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Patriots fever grows more intense as Springfield area fans get closer to Sunday's 6:30 championship game kick off time.

Since no self respecting fan would proclaim their Patriots loyalty without wearing some "stuff", business at Sports Stuff in Springfield has gotten better as we get closer to the game.

“They're coming in for different hats and sideline hats and shirts just anything to bring to the party and they have a lot of confidence that they're going to win, but there's always that little skepticism,” said Toni Trehey the manager of Sports Stuff.

Traditionally she said, as the Patriots move closer to the Super Bowl the more the fans want to buy.

The Patriots performance in recent years has been very good to Springfield area shops that carry a line of Patriots merchandise.
