HOLYOKE, MASS (WWLP) - They're not undecided. They just don't care to vote.
A new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll found that 40 percent of Americans don't plan to vote
According to that poll, more than eighty million eligible Americans won't vote.
And it could hurt Barrack Obama's chances to be a two-term president. The poll finds that the same American "non -voters" support President Obama's re-election over Republican Mitt Romney by more than 2-1. And two-thirds of them say they are registered to vote.
Why won't they vote? The poll cites several reasons: 26% say they have no time or are busy.
14% say they are now thinking about it.
12% say they think "their vote doesn't count."
