SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A pizza delivery man was robbed at gun point in Wednesday night after he was lured to a vacant house in Springfield.
Springfield Police Captain Cheryl Clapprood told 22News two men confronted the delivery man at 65 Grand Street near the city's "X" at 7:45 Wednesday night.
Captain Clapprood said one of the robbers pointed a large black handgun at the victim, grabbed the food, and took off. The food had a value of $42.00. No one was hurt.
Captain Clapprood described of the robbers as black men. "One of them was skinny, about five foot eight and dressed all in black. The other was six feet tal, wore a silver jacket, and had a large black gun," Clapprood said.
Police are searching for the suspects. No one was hurt.
