HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A plan is in the works to re-develop the center of Holyoke.
The Holyoke Redevelopment Authority presented the ambitious plan at the Wistariahurst Museum Tuesday night.
It aims to draw private investment to the Downtown, Flats, South Holyoke and Churchill neighborhoods.
“Diversity, density, not wanting the downtown center of Holyoke to be just another suburban development, but to really keep development within the character of the city," said Holyoke resident Mara Dodge about the plan.
The city council will hold a public hearing before voting on whether to put the plan into effect.
