Police: Body found at park in Palmer

PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) - A body was found Tuesday afternoon at Laviolette Park in the Three Rivers part of Palmer.

Palmer Police Sgt. Christopher Burns told 22News the body was found just before 3:30 p.m.
He said they are not treating the death as suspicious.

However, Palmer Police and the Hampden County District Attorney's Office are investigating.

Sgt. Burns said they are withholding details on the person found until proper notification can be made.
