SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - On February first, 38-year-old Judy Ramirez was found murdered in Springfield. Her body was found in a stairwell behind the Progressive Community Chapel on 599 State Street.
Wednesday night, Springfield Police have confirmed she was the same Judy Ramirez that 22News interviewed in September, when she was living at the River Inn.
Judy was one of dozens of tenants being forced out after that hotel was condemned. She told 22News she was afraid of being sent to the streets, where she eventually was killed. "I try my best just to live in it. Because if not, I'll be homeless. Cause I ain't got nothing else."
Springfield Police are asking for your help in solving Judy's murder.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Detective Bureau at 413-787-6355 or anonymously “Text-a-Tip.”
