Post Office robbed in Palmer

PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) - Palmer Police and Postal Inspectors are searching for the man who held up the Post Office in the Thorndike section of the town Saturday morning.

Palmer Police Lieutenant John Janulewicz told 22News the man was armed with a knife when he took the money from the Postal employee. The holdup man is described as slight of build, 5 feet seven inches tall, wearing a grey and white hoodie, and a grey mask.

Lt. Janulewicz said "The U.S. Postal Service has offered a reward for the capture of the bandit.”
