Postal worker arrested for stealing drugs

Charged with trafficking a Class A substance

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A postal worker has been arrested to allegedly stealing prescription drugs that were being sent through the mail.
  
Holyoke Police Lt. Matthew Moriarty told 22News that 33 year old Daniel Jankowiak of South Hadley was arrested Friday while working at the Holyoke Post Office, located on Dwight Street. 
  
Police found several pieces of mail, which did not belong to Jankowiak, among his belongings.
 
Jankowiak has been charged with trafficking a Class A substance, oxycodon, and receiving stolen property.
