CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Power should be back on to all residents in the Willimansett section of Chicopee after a more than hour long outage.

Viewers started contacting 22News just before 4:00am Wednesday saying that the power was out on Chicopee Street, Nash Street, Gratan Street and Beverly Street.

That outage was confirmed by a recording on the Chicopee Electric Light emergency telephone line.

The utility company's website does not list any scheduled outages, although they do mention construction from August 27th - 31st.

That construction includes city wide service work, replacing a power pole on Sheridan Street and another pole on McKnistry Ave.

No word what caused the outage.
