Power outage in East Longmeadow

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - More than a thousand East Longmeadow residents were left in the dark tonight after a power outage.

Michael Verteramo sent us this video using our 22News Report It feature.

You can see a fire burning on top of the utility poll on Maple Street.

According to National Grid's website, more than 1,100 customers were affected by the blackout.

Crews are currently working to restore power to everyone in town.
