HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Power returns in Holyoke Thursday night, which left several homes and businesses without electricity or heat for three and half hours.
Holyoke Police told 22News that neighborhoods west of Jarvis Ave and Easthampton Road were dealing with outages. There was also been reports of outages in the Westfield Road area.
Crews from Holyoke Gas and Electric were working on Homestead Ave to try and restore power.
Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse also addressed the power outage on his Facebook and Twitter pages Thursday night. He said was working with the electric company to try and restore power as soon as possible.
Holyoke Police SGT Manuel Reyes told 22News that Holyoke Gas and Electric was able to restore the power around 9:30pm Thursday night.
SGT Reyes told 22News the outage hit streets along route five near the Yankee Peddlar inn.
