SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - People who live in the Upper Hill neighborhood of Springfield shared a pre-Thanksgiving dinner Sunday with students attending American International College.
It was the third annual dinner sponsored by students belonging to campus fraternities, which is why they call the event “ My Big Fat Greek Thanksgiving”.
“Coming here I thought it would be a good thing to have dinner with the community and also the students here," Mercedes Manaya, a student at AIC told 22News.
The neighborhood holiday dinner at AIC traditionally attracts some 100 people who live close to the college.
