SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Some American International College alumni are paying it forward.

The graduates returned to the campus Wednesday to take part in a workshop that helps current college seniors prepare for the job market.

Each of today's panelists shared their top tips of what not to do at an interview or job fair.

They also suggested making sure your social media accounts are potential-employer appropriate.

“This is now, your life is out in the cloud and employers do check those things out so we've been working with our students specifically in those two areas,” Carol Sitterly, Dean for Academic Success at AIC told 22News.

Sitterly also offered a few simple tips to be prepared for a job interview.

Don't be late, know the company your applying to, and ask good questions.
