Presidents' Day: What's open, what's closed

(WWLP) - Presidents’ Day is a national holiday which is observed every year on the third Monday in February. It is observed by government agencies and many employers across the country, but not everything is closed on this holiday.

Here is a look at what is open and what isn’t on Presidents’ Day

• Banks: Most closed (TD Bank branches are open on Presidents’ Day, however).
• BRTA: Full weekday service
• City/Town Offices: Closed
• Courts: Closed
• Federal Offices: Closed
• FRTA: No service
• Libraries: Closed
• Malls: Open
• Post Office: Closed
• PVTA: Full service EXCEPT Purple 11, OWL Shuttle, Blue 43, and Maroon 40, where there will be no service. Reduced schedules for most UMass Transit Service lines.
• Restaurants: Open
• Retail Stores: Open
• Schools: Closed
• Ski Areas: Open
• State Offices: Closed
• Stock Market: Closed
