HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - What a day for the 3rd annual Rainbow Riverfest.
The LGBT Coalition of western Massachusetts held their fall fundraiser, complete with music, food, and vendors. They also had a Zen Zone for the body, mind and spirit, which offered massage and acupuncture. Executive director Suzan Seymour told 22News, it's a fun and safe opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together.
“For young people, being able to have opportunities to see older people who have made it when they're going through such a hard time in their own life. Really struggling with their identity and all the things that come along with that,” Suzan Seymour said.
All money raised goes back to community programs, many of which support youth and target LGBT bullying.
