SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - One of the liveliest exchanges between Vice-President Biden and his Republican rival, Congressman Paul Ryan, was over jobs and the economic issues Americans are facing.
The 90-minute face-off was fast-moving and spirited from the start. It also involved sharp disagreements and interruptions.
Ryan accused the Obama administration of stifling job growth and economic recovery with bad policies. But Biden defended the the administration's record of job creation, and efforts made to stand-up against foreign threats.
There are two more presidential debates left before November 6th. The next one takes place on Tuesday, October 16th, in Long Island.
