Red Cross continuing to assist cleanup efforts

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A multi-agency service center for those affected by the Worthington Street explosion will stay open for another day.

Residents with property damage or other needs related to the accident can visit 436 Dwight Street on Monday between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm. Dawn Leaks of the Pioneer Valley Red Cross told 22News they will be there to pass out cleaning items:

  • brooms
  • dust pans
  • work gloves
  • safety goggles
  • small first aid kits
  • face masks
  • heavy construction bags
