Red's Towing on fire in West Springfield

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Landmark West Springfield towing business Red's Towing caught fire Monday night.

Witnesses told 22News, that as of 9:00 O'clock Monday night, smoke was still pouring out of the building at 1528 Riverdale Street.

No official word on damage yet, but it appears to be extensive.  West Springfield fire fighters and police have blocked off the south bound side of Riverdale Street, diverting traffic at Brush Hill Ave.

According to the company web site, Red's Towing has been in business for 52 years.
