WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Rescue crews in Westfield are trying to free the driver of a large truck that rolled onto its side Monday afternoon.

Westfield Police Sgt. Paul Beebe told 22News that they believe the driver’s arm became stuck underneath the truck following the accident, which was reported just after 3:00 near the intersection of North Road and East Mountain Road.

Sgt. Beebe said that the towing company will have to use air bags to lift up the truck enough to free the driver’s arm.

The accident is not impacting traffic in the area, and none of its cargo of soil spilled onto the roadway.
