SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Friends, family and colleagues are mourning the loss of 23 year-old Springfield Firefighter Kenneth Murray.
He was killed in a car accident early Sunday morning, at the intersection of Cottage Street and Brookdale Drive. Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney told 22News speed was a factor in the accident.
Murray was one of the firefighters injured during the Worthington Street explosion in Springfield, late last year.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been finalized.
