SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Coffee, cafe, and casino.

Sal's Bakery and Cafe is holding open forums for the community and potential Springfield casino developers.

On Thursday night MGM Resorts presented their vision for a casino in the South End and answered any questions. The hope is that this will give the community a voice and a better idea of what these companies are proposing.

“Hearing about the future is one thing but they have a very impressive video presentation and it takes you around and you can really see what would be there,” said Brian Hale of Springfield.

The next forum at the bakery will be for Penn National on Tuesday at 7pm.
