Police: Missing woman found safe

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - Police in East Longmeadow say a missing woman has been found safe.

Sgt. Steven Manning told 22News that 66-year old Linda Jorgensen was stopped by state police on I-291 at around 1:00AM Tuesday.

She left her home in a friend's car yesterday afternoon and disappeared.

Police were worried about Jorgenson because they say she had medical issues.
