Shaker Road open again after crash between tractor trailer, utility pole

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - A major roadway in East Longmeadow is finally open again, after being shut down for hours.

Shaker Road (Route 220) was closed from Pease Road to the Connecticut state line after a tractor trailer struck a utility pole around 6:30 A.M.

No injuries were reported, but the damage to the pole took hours to fix, and the road did not finally re-open until after 1:00 P.M.
