DPW: road should reopen Thursday night

CHICOPEE, Mass, (WWLP) - 22News is working for you with a cone zone alert for Chicopee .

Sheridan Street at Dewey Street is closed while the DPW repairs a sinkhole.

Chicopee DPW Superintendent Stan Kulig told 22News a pipe broke under the road, causing the massive hole.

Kulig said crews will work through Wednesday night to repair the sinkhole and the road will hopefully be back open Thursday night.
