SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - State Police arrested six people during a drug raid in Springfield's North End.

According to a State Police news release, the arrests were made during raids Thursday on two separate apartments at 101 Lowell St.

Troopers seized crack cocaine, marijuana, drug packaging paraphernalia and cash.

The suspects were charged with possession and intent to distribute.

State Police say Thursday's raid was part of an ongoing effort by the Special Projects Team to help identify and stop criminal and safety problems in Springfield's North End.
