CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - It’s a slippery start to your Wednesday morning commute.

Trooper Hanson of the State Police Barracks in Northampton told 22News that multiple accidents have been reported along I-91 between Holyoke and Whately. No serious injuries have been reported, however.

State Police in Lee told 22News there's a vehicle off the road along Rt. 41 in Richmond, but it’s not blocking any lanes.

And according to the State Police Barracks in Westfield, the speed limit on the Mass. Pike is down to 40MPH.

State and local police in all four Western Mass. counties have reported numerous minor spin outs.

22News is working for you with some winter weather driving tips:

  • Slow down
  • Apply your brakes early and often
  • Don't use cruise control
  • Make sure you leave plenty of extra space between you and the car in front of you.

Due to the snow, there are multiple school, business, and religious closings and delays. You can find a complete listing of them here on WWLP.com on any device.
