Springfield hit & run murder suspect in court

Anna Franchesi has pleaded not guilty

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - 40 year old Anna Franchesi was expected in court Thursday morning, however did not appear.

She's the woman accused in Springfield's 5th murder of the year.

Franchesi allegedly hit 32 year old Yasmin Marin with her car on purpose, killing her last month.

It allegedly happened while Marin was crossing Main Street.

Franchesi pled not guilty and is being held without bail.
