Spfld package store robbed by three men

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield police have arrested one man and are looking for two others following an armed robbery at an East Springfield package store late Friday morning.

The clerk at The Spirit Shoppe on St. James Avenue, who did not wish to speak on camera, told 22News that three men who appeared to have guns came into the store. The clerk said the men then took money from the register and the lottery machine, before getting away.

Officer Charles Youmans told 22News that during the robbery, a single gunshot was fired, though no one was injured.
