SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Police have arrested a woman suspected of breaking into downtown parking meters.

Police Captain Cheryl Claprood told 22News that police arrested 21-year-old Kimberly Lenois, after someone said they spotted her using a screwdriver to break into 3 meters on Bridge Street.

Police believe she may also be involved in stealing from at least 60 other parking meters in and around Stearns Square this past Tuesday night.

Lenois was arraigned on several charges Thursday morning.

Police are now looking for a man who may have helped Lenois break into the meters.
