Spfld Subway robbed twice in one week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Subway on Main Street in Springfield was robbed Tuesday night for the second time in one week.

Springfield Police Captain Cheryl Clapprood told 22News the man walked in around six tonight and demanded money.  No weapon was shown but Captain Clapprood said he indicated he has something in his pocket.

Captain Clapprood said someone matching the same description  robbed the same store Saturday morning.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 30's, around 5'9" tall.  He wore a dark hoodie during both robberies.
